We wanted to give back to our customers by redesigning a more user friendly website and smoother shopping experience.  Our dog owners love NRG homemade whole foods dog dog food and the only complaint we have had over the years was our website was a bit hard to navigate. NRG dehydrated dog food decided to have our website redesigned with our customers in mind.  We hope our new website lives up to the same high quality as our NRG homemade whole foods dog food.

You probably noticed the new website is now www.homemadedogfoddiet.com.  We felt that since we make the food on our own farm in Canada it deserved a new website that distinguishes us from the rest.  One that shows that NRG is truly a homemade whole foods dog food.  Unlike other companies that say they make the food themselves, they source their ingredients from companies all over the world and than just mix the ingredients and claim they make it themselves”.  At NRG dog products, we receive all of our ingredients fresh from within North America ONLY, and from the same farming families that supply your own grocery stores.  We do not use left over ingredients from human food facilities and call it human grade.

NRG homemade dehydrated dog food is the only whole foods dog food where you can actually see the ingredients with your naked eye. We do not process our ingredients into a powder, slurry or little pellets.  You can actually see the squash, salmon, eggshells and most other ingredients in our dog food to know you are getting real food. NRG shops North America farms for the freshest produce available, we contract with local organic suppliers first, and barring seasonable supply, growers that farm using environmentally responsible practises. We purchase only table grade ingredients (ingredients that same quality as you serve at your family dinner table).  Fresh, whole fruits and vegetables are delivered daily and accepted only after inspection.

Our protein is purchased fresh or flash frozen.  We inspect every purchase before it is loaded on our truck.  Our specifications mean animals live free range, and are fed a natural diet that does not contain any meat meals or animals by-products.  Strict
standards ensure our protein is the best quality 100% muscle meat your money can buy for your champion pet.  These standards are your guarantee that inappropriate feeding practices that can lead to BSE and other diseases or immune compromises are not part of NRG diets.

Unlike most if not all other dehydrated dog foods in the market, NRG homemade whole foods dog food does not use potato as a filler. Potato is the new binder in pet foods. It is the latest waste product from the human food preparation chain to find new life hidden in pet foods.  Is refined potato peel really a different option than refined grain?  NRG considers even whole potato to be a filler, used to increase calories and nothing more…… We will not use potatoes.
